Dr. Thomas Bagger is Head of Policy Planning at the German Federal Foreign Office. From 2009 until July 2011, he served as Head of the Foreign Minister’s Office in Berlin. His previous postings abroad were Washington (2006-2009), Ankara/Turkey (2002-2006) and Prague (1996-1998). Before he joined the German Diplomatic Service in 1992, he worked as a research associate at the Institute of International Affairs (SWP) in Ebenhausen, Germany. Thomas Bagger, born 1965, holds an MA in Government and Politics from UMCP and a doctorate from Ludwig- Maximilian-University in Munich. He is married to Anita Bagger and they have three children.

Dr. Bagger will give his public talk on Tuesday, Oct 28, 2014, at 4:30 in Kreindler Conference Hall, Haldeman Center, Room 041, Dartmouth College.
