Gender Imbalnce in the Classroom

In the October 3 issue of The D, Novi Zhukovsky explores the Jennifer Jiwon Lee's senior thesis “Who Speaks and Who Listens: An Examination of Gender Differences in Dartmouth Classrooms.” In her article "Speaking Up Gender Imbalance in the Classroom," Zhukovsky discusses disparities in when and how men and women speak in Dartmouth classes with Lee's thesis advisor, Associate Professor Janice McCabe, as well as other students and faculty around campus.
