#MeToo prompts a reckoning with some old questions: Who should be believed, and why? How does racial injustice inflect the economy of belief? How does a sexual culture change – and is it fair to punish people according to ‘new’ rules? It also raises some new questions: what does due process look like in the age of social media? To what extent can sexual harassment serve as a feminist rallying cry in the age of late capitalism?
