In Winter 2023, sixteen students participated in a student-led project in SOCY 76. With help from Sunmin Kim and Daniel Lin '23, they unearthed archival materials relating to the past instances of Asian American student activism and interviewed the alumni who participated in those instances. Their research culminated into an on-line exhibition and is scheduled to feature in the events for the upcoming Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This presentation will showcase what they discovered in four key areas: student social life; sexual harassment and bias incidents; arts and performances; and the mobilization for Asian American studies.
